About

History

Counterpoint Marketing and Sales was established in 1983 and over the next 5 years continually grew based on the demands of a number of clients that were looking for representation in Woolworth’s and Coles. In 1988 the business moved to a full national service with offices in each of the mainland capital cities.

In October 2005 Counterpoint Marketing and Sales was acquired by The Photon Group (www.photongroup.com), a publicly listed company. The Photon Group is one of Australia's largest communications companies comprising more than 50 independent businesses. Each of the businesses is an industry specialist, and is focused on the delivery of tangible results for their clients. The Photon Group is not bound by geography and operates across Australia and throughout the world in both traditional and niche markets. Counterpoint Marketing & Sales forms a key part of The Photon Group’s ‘Experiential and Field Marketing’ pillar.

Today, Counterpoint Marketing and Sales represents a number of large and small, international and domestic clients across grocery, mass, liquor, hardware, petrol and convenience, route and many other markets. As a business we endeavour to continually grow our client’s brands and will represent them from the ‘coal face’ in-store through to managing their key retail accounts and working with them on their brand development and management.
