In Field

Counterpoint uses wireless hand held technology in the field. The use of PDA's enables the field to receive their work in real time and to capture data in store that can be fed back for client reports, etc.

The PDA's communicate via the GPRS network and allow the field to receive tasks, client briefs and information. This information can be collated and used by clients to drive greater results within their accounts. Jobs can be managed through the allocation of time and the territories are routed using an in house built software package that utilises Google Maps.

The PDA's have full photo capability and are able to be used as mobile phones as well. In addition to this our Supervisors and Management teams are equipped with mobile devices that have full email capability.

The PDA’s also have an ordering module that can be used to sell products, manage or order POS and even capture required stock for use as ‘bonus stock’ or wheeling and dealing on promotional programmes. One of the most effective uses for the PDA’s is the capability to capture a clients ranging in store from all products that are graded, not ranged or even ranged above the grading. This information can be viewed in an effective traffic light coded report and drives for a more targeted approach to maintaining distribution on a store by store basis.
